The attendance problem in logistics operations
A fingerprint reader on the warehouse door fails when gloves are on, when the night shift shares one enrolment, or when a second depot opens across town. A paper register at the security desk is filled in for people who are already on the floor. Spreadsheets catch up after payroll has already been argued.
Delivery work makes this worse only when you confuse two jobs. Proving a driver started at the depot is attendance. Knowing where the van is at 14:10 is fleet operations, and Timenox does not do that.

Verify the moment, not the round
Location, if enabled, is stored at check-in and again at check-out. GPS attendance is explicit: nothing runs in between. Device binding is what stops a colleague marking two people from one phone.
Export the shift record
Reports and CSV or spreadsheet export support payroll teams. Optional photo capture is a setting, not a default. Employees can see their own records in the employee portal.

Logistics attendance questions
Does Timenox track delivery vehicles or routes?
No. Timenox is attendance software. It records check-in and check-out, with location captured at those moments if verification is enabled. It does not monitor routes, ETAs, vehicle telemetry, or a live map of drivers on the road.
Can warehouse and delivery people use the same system?
Yes, as employees in Timenox. Warehouse staff typically check in against the warehouse location. A driver who starts the day at a depot can check in there the same way. That is still attendance at a place and time — not live driver tracking after they leave the yard.
How do shifts work for a 24-hour DC?
You set working hours and can run shift-based attendance. People mark attendance in the browser at the start and end of their shift. Overtime and hours then sit on the attendance record and export; Timenox does not calculate payslips.
Is location checked continuously while someone is on a round?
No. Location is verified at attendance time. There is no background GPS, no pinging between check-in and check-out, and no employee app that could report position while driving.
When would we look at Timenox 360 instead?
