1. Try Before You Pay
Timenox offers a permanent free plan for teams of up to 10 employees — no credit card required. This allows you to explore the platform fully before committing to a paid subscription.
Paid plans may also include a free trial period. Details are displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
We strongly encourage all customers to use the free plan or trial period to evaluate whether Timenox meets their needs before upgrading. By proceeding with a paid subscription, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to evaluate the Service and are making an informed purchase.
2. General No-Refund Policy
All payments made to Timenox are non-refundable once a paid subscription is activated.
This applies to:
- Monthly subscription payments
- Annual subscription payments
- Plan upgrades or mid-cycle changes
- Any period during which you did not use the Service or used it partially
No partial refunds are issued for unused days or weeks remaining in a billing period, whether on monthly or annual plans.
Timenox is a digital service. Once a subscription is activated and access to paid features is granted, the service has been delivered. This is consistent with standard SaaS billing practices globally.
3. Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered
Timenox may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund or account credit in the following limited circumstances:
Duplicate Charge
You were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing system error.
Billing Error
You were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical or administrative error on our end.
Unauthorized Payment
A charge was made without your authorization and you report it promptly with supporting evidence.
Extended Service Outage
The Service was completely unavailable for an extended and unreasonable period due to issues within our control, and you reported it during that period.
All exception requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is at Timenox's sole discretion. To request a review, contact support@timenox.com within 7 days of the charge in question.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support.
Access continues until the end of your current billing period — monthly or annual.
No automatic refunds are issued upon cancellation. Cancellation stops future billing only.
After the period ends, your account reverts to the free plan (up to 10 employees) — your data is not deleted automatically.
Annual plans cancelled mid-year are not refunded for the remaining months.
There is no cancellation fee. You will never be penalized for leaving.
5. Trial Period Cancellation
If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged — no questions asked
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged for the next billing period
- Trial availability and duration are shown on the pricing page and at checkout
We send a reminder notification before your trial expires to give you time to decide.
6. Plan Downgrades
You may downgrade to a lower-tier plan or the free plan at any time.
- Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
- You retain access to your current plan's features until the current period ends
- No refund is issued for the difference between plans within an active billing period
7. Payment Processors — India vs International
This is important — your billing experience differs based on your location.
🇮🇳 Indian Customers
Processed via Razorpay
- Timenox is the merchant and seller of record
- GST is applied where applicable
- For billing disputes, contact support@timenox.com directly
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method via Razorpay (5–7 business days)
🌍 International Customers
Processed via Paddle
- Paddle is the Merchant of Record. Your invoice and receipt are issued by Paddle, not Timenox
- Paddle handles VAT/tax collection and compliance for your region
- For billing queries or receipts, you may also contact Paddle's buyer support directly
- Approved refunds are processed by Paddle (5–10 business days depending on your card/bank)
Regardless of which processor handled your payment, the refund eligibility rules in this policy apply. Contact support@timenox.com first for any billing issue and we will coordinate the refund through the appropriate channel.
8. Taxes and Payment Fees
Subscription prices may be subject to applicable taxes including GST (India), VAT (EU/UK), or other local taxes depending on your jurisdiction. These taxes are collected and remitted by Timenox (for Indian customers) or Paddle (for international customers).
- Taxes are non-refundable even where a refund is approved on the base subscription amount
- Payment processing fees incurred by Razorpay or Paddle are not refunded, as these are charged at the time of the original transaction
- Refunds, where approved, will reflect the net amount after deducting non-refundable taxes and gateway fees
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider.
Most billing issues can be resolved quickly. Reach us at support@timenox.com and we will investigate and respond within 2 business days.
Chargeback abuse — filing a chargeback for a valid charge where no billing error occurred — may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account and access to the Service
- Permanent ban from future subscriptions
- Recovery of the disputed amount through lawful means if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent
We always aim to resolve genuine disputes fairly. This policy exists solely to protect against abuse.
10. How to Request a Refund Review
If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the exceptions in Section 3, follow these steps:
- Email us at support@timenox.com with the subject line: "Refund Request"
- Include your registered account email, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request
- Attach any supporting evidence (e.g., duplicate charge screenshots, bank statements)
- We will review and respond within 5 business days
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider and typically takes 5–10 business days after approval.
11. Changes to This Policy
Timenox reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
